Our Borough. Our Lib Dem led Council. Our Choice - May 3rd
Under a week to go. A day for positive choices - May 3rd. To keep a forward looking Lib Dem led Council.
They have helped create the conditions for local success. Colchester is attractive - not just for the growing numbers of visitors. But for business. Over 1,000 have been created since 2011.
Jobs are also up. Wages are up. And the Lib Dems want to attract yet more investment, new jobs and prosperity.
Our Manifesto sets out practical but ambitious promises to do more. To be creative. From a Transport for Colchester, to provide better public transport, cleaner air and a more pedestrianised High Street, to new plans for housing and the homeless.
This is a Council that cares. About the air we breathe and about our environment. Fewer emissions. And massively improved recycling rates have already been achieved. Next steps: action on single use plastics, and support for clean buses and electric vehicles.
Keeping the best we have. Looking for better. And with a public service ethos as Lib Dems will continue to promote heritage and culture through award-winning attractions, like Colchester Castle and the Mercury theatre. They remain committed to publicly owned and well-run facilities like Leisure World.
May 3rd is about our borough. Our residents. Our future.
With a Lib Dem led Council we can remain positive about a bright future.
Keep it that way: Vote Liberal Democrat on May 3rd.
