Save Fiveways Pharmacy!

Local residents are very upset to learn that the Boots Pharmacy located in the Fiveways Coop store in Stanway is due to close early in 2024.

Residents of Prettygate, Stanway and the surrounding area have been told that they will have to make different arrangements to pick up their prescriptions from March/April 2024.

The local residents have called on Local Lib Dem Campaigners Chantelle Whyborn (Stanway) and John Loxley (Prettygate) to launch a petition to try to prevent the closure.

Local Pharmacy closures are largely due to reductions in NHS pharmacy funding by the government.
