Welcome to Colchester Liberal Democrats

We’re the local voice of the Liberal Democrats across the Colchester City Council in Essex. Our team also supports communities within the Parliamentary constituencies of Colchester, Harwich & North Essex, and Witham.

We’re proud to be part of the administration leading Colchester City Council, working in coalition to serve local residents. Our group includes fourteen dedicated Liberal Democrat City Councillors, and we continue to have two Liberal Democrat representatives on Essex County Council.

As part of the coalition Cabinet, four Liberal Democrat councillors hold key leadership roles:

• Planning & Sustainable Development: Cllr Andrea Luxford-Vaughan
